Course overview
This course contains information for both the experienced and new eye care professional (ECP). The ECP and the patient benefits when computer use is evaluated and eyewear or positional changes might be of assistance. The course will impart information regarding problems associated with computer and hand-held device use, especially visual difficulties. Lenses, non-optical devices and good posture will be discussed. The use of computers and hand-held devices is steadily increasing and it is postulated that related problems will also increase. The overall objective of this course is to give an ECP a variety of solutions to help a patient who is experiencing computer vision syndrome.
