This course is a form of massage therapy that teaches participants to safely release fascial and muscular tension in the body. Physical assessments refers to postural problems and corrections working with myofascia in movement. This course is for the lower body to safely learn myofascial techniques for working spine,pelvis,hips and legs. Restrictions in the soft tissue are addressed with hands-on techniques by the therapist in synergy with active movement by the client. This style of work teaches massage therapists how to conserve energy and use safe body mechanics, and is within the scope of practice for massage therapists.
