  6. Understand the procedures the board follows upon receiving a complaint about a medical psychologist
  7. Understand the investigation and adjudication processes if a complaint leads to a formal investigation

Course overview

Laws and Rules for Louisiana Medical Psychologists. This course is mandatory for Medical Psychologists renewing their license for the first time. It is optional and encouraged for all other Medical Psychologists, and may be taken once a year. Licensees who are found in violation of a practice act provision will also be required to take the course to review the rules for their profession.
