Course overview

Learn to quickly and effectively treat hip and low back pain in your clients! Upon completion of this course, students will be familiar with the major muscles of the pelvis, thigh, and lower back along with their actions and ranges of motion. Students will be able to identify common dysfunctional patterns of the hips, thigh, lower back, and glutes through postural analysis and client question/answer. Students will confirm findings using special tests as outlined in the subject matter section. Students will be able to effectively treat identified issues using approved myofascial release and neuromuscular therapy techniques integrated to achieve maximum client result. Students will complete a written exam to demonstrate mastery of the integrative massage principles, muscle actions, and common trigger points. Students will demonstrate a mastery of the specific neuromuscular, myofascial, and muscle energy techniques as well as their practical application through a hands-on testing period performed at the end of the course.
