Course overview

Low back pain (LBP) is the most commonly treated musculoskeletal condition in the U.S. By implementing evidence-based screening and assessment tools, physical therapists can differentially diagnose patients with LBP and improve treatment efficiency and efficacy. The goal of this course is to help clinicians screen patients for other musculoskeletal conditions, potential pathological conditions, and non-organic causes of LBP. Clinicians will learn how to determine the sources of a patients symptoms and improve their decision-making ability regarding an appropriate plan of care.
