Learn how the student function assessment (SFA) can be used as a team-based assessment to facilitate communication between educators servicing students with a variety of conditions to participate in their current educational setting and achieve their educational goals. Part 1 of this course will review foundational information of the SFA and how it can be used to identify academic and non-academic goal areas, in addition to identifying appropriate accommodations to support the student in their least restrictive environment: Part 2 of this course will review our major sensory systems and how to assist educators with implementing sensorimotor techniques to promote participation in the classroom.
