Course overview
Ethical issues and dilemmas are inherent in the care provided to patients and their families in palliative care. One of the most important and privileged roles you have as a healthcare professional is that you individually and collectively serve as an advocate for patients and their families by fostering communication about healthcare decisions. In this course, you will learn about common ethical issues in palliative care as well as how to address them. The goal of this course is to provide nurses with knowledge of ethical issues in palliative care.
