Discrimination in the Workplace for Supervisors

Course overview

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) is responsible for enforcing federal laws that make it illegal to discriminate against a job applicant or an employee based on protected characteristics. You can be held liable for discrimination regardless of whether you intentionally discriminated against your employee, so it is imperative that you understand the federal laws prohibiting discrimination. The goal of this course is to provide nursing and social work professionals with an overview of workplace discrimination.
