Course overview
The field of school social work is part of the historical commitment to social work as seeing individuals as the structures and settings they exist in. However, current school social work practice has more of an emphasis on clinical treatment. Due to the lack of resources and ever-growing requests, we must collectively discover ways to impact students that affects the school environment. Interprofessional Collaborative practice is an influential way to foster change by incorporating staff at different levels to develop a robust school system
