This program is designed to provide Foster Parents an overview of the legal framework of state child protective services agencies. Social workers also benefit from an understanding of the legal system and the requirements upon a Child Protective Services Agency. The knowledge in this webinar is beneficial to their roles in assisting, treating, counseling, and servicing individuals and/or families involved with Child Protective Services Agencies and/or the Child Welfare System. As mandatory reporters, social workers will benefit from the discussion on the protocol of Child Protective Services Agencies when reports are received by mandatory reporters.
