Course overview

In early 2022, unusual outbreaks of mpox (monkeypox) were reported in various countries worldwide. Most of the confirmed cases were reported in countries where mpox is not typically found. This mpox outbreak may impact multiple populations, including children and healthcare workers. Confirmed cases of mpox, disease progression, and physical and mental health complications are discussed in terms of the recommended methods to diagnose and treat the disease.
