Course overview

Medical records are at the core of every successful veterinary practice. Creating good medical records can be integrated into every step of practice without adding any extra workload for associates. This course is designed to increase efficiency in practice, while ensuring compliance with the law. We specifically discuss effective client communication, obtaining client consent, anesthesia records, the SOAP/HEAP process, client handouts and other quality increasing, time-saving techniques. Legally, we will also cover evidentiary standards, legal presumptions, confidentiality and medical records storage.
