Course overview
This two hour course exceeds the requirements for OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) compliance in the workplace. The Bloodborne Pathogen Law 29 CFR 1910.1030 is reviewed as well as the Chemical Hazard Law 29 CFR 1900.1200. Engineering controls and work place practices are discussed as well as Universal Precautions, sharps disposal, labeling requirements. Exposure Control procedure guidelines are also reviewed.
