Course overview
Executive function (EF) skills require a combination of focus, working memory, and regulation and monitoring of actions. EF disorder is diagnosed as a result of neurological and behavioral conditions. Individuals with EF impairments can present with difficulty analyzing, planning, organizing, and executing tasks. This module discusses practical application of the impact of EF deficits on clinical presentation. Rehabilitation clinicians will gain an understanding of how to develop appropriate goals and interventions when working with this population.
