Basics of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

Course overview

This training will address the use of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as a therapeutic intervention with individuals and the theory driving it forward in the field. Examples of how ACT activities can be used to enhance and facilitate successful achievement of treatment goals will be presented. Participants should be prepared to engage in active, hands-on learning and group discussion.
