Course overview

This webinar is designed to help participants distinguish important characteristics of each developmental stage for counselors and supervisors. The session will help each participant identify the stage they are in and the appropriate approaches suited for their level to appropriately address their needs and concerns. The Counselor Developmental Model will be discussed. plus the Developmental Model for Supervisors will be addressed. This webinar aims to help each clinician and supervisor develop their skills to serve clients better. Various issues surrounding the competence and improvement of supervisors and clinicians will be highlighted. Participants will find the encouragement they need to push further, be better, and be more competent in their field. Participating in this webinar will help clinicians and supervisors understand the concepts of race, culture, gender, religion, and sexual orientation related to supervision and client care.
