Course overview

This webinar will provide insight and training on Intuitive Eating and how it is helpful in not only Binge Eating Disorder treatment, but also for anyone that feels stuck in chaotic, restrictive, or emotional eating behaviors that generate feelings of powerlessness and feeling out of control. What if those negative thoughts, attitudes, judgments, and difficulties with food and addictive eating behaviors do not mean you are a failure? Intuitive Eating is about building a healthy relationship with food, but at the same time building up your self-esteem and re-claiming connection with our hunger and fullness cues that we were born with but somewhere in between infancy and where we find ourselves today, we have become disconnected. Intuitive Eating works to get that connection back! This training will discuss the principles of IE and how to apply them when working with patients that struggle with mindfulness/intuitiveness, emotional eating, disordered eating, and even those that would like to improve their self-esteem by learning how to regain connection and avoid feelings of chaos or restriction especially around eating.
