Course overview

Practitioners will learn acupuncture and herbal medicine treatment options for Low Back Pain, IBS - Irritable Bowel Syndrome, and Insomnia. Dr. Michael Carruth will analyze the most common patterns he observes for each issue, how he arrives at a diagnosis, what evidence he assembles, and as a result, what acupuncture points he uses and what Chinese Herbal formulas he would select for each of these diagnoses, as well as some of the guiding principles he frequently employs. And he will attempt to bring color to each topic by introducing complexities for expert practitioners!
