Care at the End-of-Life

Course overview

This course provides the nurse with updated information on care of the individual at the end of life. Palliative care will be differentiated from curative care and a review of pathophysiologic changes that occur at the end of life are reviewed. Legal, ethical, and social concerns are discussed along with supportive measures nurses can take to support the dying individual and their significant others.
