Caring for the Patient Post Cesarean Section
Tracking # 20-995758
Course overview
Nurses who care for patients undergoing a Cesarian section (C-section) must be able to apply appropriate interventions to support the patient physically and emotionally. They must be able to assess for signs of infection as well as educate the patient on proper wound care to reduce the risk of surgical site infection while continuing to support family-centered care. The goal of this continuing education course is to provide evidence-based guidelines regarding post-C-section care to nurses in acute care settings.
