Course overview

Are you still recommending RICE to manage all patients' edema? To effectively manage edema, you must align your interventions with the type and cause. In this course, physical and occupational therapy professionals will learn to differentiate between the types of edema and develop an evidence-based strategy for treatment. When to refer to other members of the team for appropriate management is also discussed. The goal of this course is to teach physical and occupational therapy professionals evidence-based assessments and interventions for edema.
