Emergency Medical Technician Refresher Course (32 hours)

Course overview

This Distant Learning Course consists of 32 hours of continuing education in emergency medicine for EMTs which includes 2 hours of pediatric emergencies. This course reviews several areas that are pertinent to the EMT in the prehospital setting including recognition and management of medical emergencies and trauma injuries. Upon completion of the course, the student is required to take a multiple-choice question test. A passing score of 70% or greater is required to successfully complete the course.
