Course overview

There are many different types of clinical errors and adverse incidents that can occur in healthcare organizations. Reducing them and improving your response to them should be the number one goal. This course examines the types and causes of adverse incidents, how to determine if an incident is adverse, adverse incident reporting requirements, and adverse incident investigation and management strategies. The goal of this course is to provide nursing professionals in any setting with instruction regarding adverse incident identification, reporting, management, and prevention.
