Course overview

The widespread impact of trauma is being recognized at the same time as the importance of knowledge on diversity, equity, and inclusion. In this training we will discuss ways to foster a climate the values diversity in the different families we serve. We will review how racism and structural disadvantage impact attitudes, behaviors, and expectations in behavioral health. Finally we will discuss ways to increase equity in our interactions with the families we serve.
