When it comes to providing care to patients suffering from a stroke, rapid and appropriate intervention is key. EMS providers must be able to quickly recognize the signs of a stroke and differentiate between the types of strokes to transport the patient to the correct care facility. In this course, we'll look at patient scenarios of ischemic stroke, hemorrhagic stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhages, large vessel occlusions, and transient ischemic attacks.
