Objectives 1. Describe the major requirements contained in the ADA statute. 2. Discuss the ADA as it relates to barriers to employment, transportation, public accommodations, public services and telecommunications. 3. Define and discuss "reasonable accommodation" "undue hardship" under the ADA 4. Discuss the Americans with Disabilities Act as it has evolved through interpretation by the U.S. Supreme Court, including: a. Sutton v. United Airlines b. Albertson's v. Kirkingburg c. Murphy v. United Parcel Service edit delete 5. Describe the Americans with Disabilities Act Restoration Act of 2006, including its similarities/differences with the original Americans with Disabilitites Act of 1990.
