( HS Taylor-Shore 096309 2023) Getting Clients Unstuck with Neuroscience: Applying Memory Reconsolidation to Practice
Tracking # 20-1005700
Course overview
Our ability to help clients with a range of symptoms is often thwarted by unconscious beliefs learned during potent emotional experiences. Although such learnings are held in parts of the brain that are hard to reach with words alone, we can use recent neuroscientific discoveries in the field of memory reconsolidation to guide our clients in unlearning the emotional knowings that are keeping them stuck. There are key elements to this natural process that, when harnessed in the therapy room, can lead to transformational change in our clients brains. In this workshop, youll discover Techniques to help your clients discover their subconscious emotional knowings The key elements to unlocking long-term potentiation patterns in the emotional brain¿ How to identify mismatches in order to unlock neural networks in the subconscious system How to bring memory reconciliation out of theory and into the therapy room, within any modality you already use
