Course overview

Chair massage course description This course provides new and experienced therapists with the knowledge and practical skills needed for a successful chair massage practice. The online course has an abundance of marketing tips and descriptions of contraindications, while the live course focuses more on the actual hands-on techniques. The online course includes clear written instructions on how to perform the chair massage techniques with many photos of these same techniques. Of course, the live class demonstrates these techniques and allows ample time for practicing the techniques and routines. I have included several sample routines that I have used with great success over the years in my chair massage practice (since 1995) that my clients loved and requested. Obviously, they can all be modified to suit your own style. There are several 5-minute routines, 10-minute routines, and 15-minute routines. Additionally, I have included routines and techniques focused entirely on different regions of the body, such as the neck, shoulder, and back. The online course discusses specific benefits of chair massage, history of chair massage, and differences in the available massage chairs. The majority of the live course will be spent on demonstrations and actual hands-on practice. The 2 courses (live and on-line) are stand alone courses but are a wonderful compliment to each other.
