Course overview

The medical field has seen un-precented growth in 3D printed parts, the market in 2020 was $210B, with digital models replicating and substituting analog ways of working. Currently, we are capable of printing skull implants, ears, dental implants, titanium bars, dental prosthesis, joints, lung and heart components all because of additive manufacturing. The future of additive manufacturing is replacing worn-out body parts to keep people moving that is less invasive. We will talk about various technologies that got us to the digital revolution, when combined, create this very powerful process that enables us to design and fabricate dental prosthesis.
