2023 Virtual Risk Management Certificate Program

Course overview

FHCAs Virtual Risk Management Certificate Program is designed to enable participants to effectively implement or enhance their skilled nursing facilitys risk management program. Leaders in risk management, including representatives from the Agency for Health Care Administration, will address topics that focus on advance directives, application of State of Florida risk requirements and federal risk-related regulations. The program will also expand participants knowledge of high-risk areas such as elopement, significant incidents and accidents and more. In addition, participants will be educated on the reporting requirements under state and federal guidelines as they relate to risk and standards of investigation and documentation.
