Group Counseling for Chemical Dependence

Course overview

This training is to increase counselors' ability to structure group sessions in a way that increases efficiency and effectiveness, while maintaining their proper focus. Participants will also increase their understanding of the counselor's role when facilitating a chemical dependency group and learn specific strategies to aid clients in processing and coping with uncomfortable emotions.
