Rhabdomyolysis: Implications for Nursing and PTs
Tracking # 20-1026712
Course overview
Rhabdomyolysis (rhabdo) is a disease that occurs due to various etiologies and can potentially lead to severe, life-threatening complications. It is important for nurses and physical therapists (PTs) to recognize patients with rhabdo, as they may require prompt treatment, especially those with exertional rhabdo (ER). The goal of this course is to inform nursing professionals and physical therapists in acute care about the identification, assessment, and management of patients with rhabdomyolysis.
