Through the course of Florida acupuncture laws & Rules Review and Update, we hope to achieve the following five objectives: Firstly, we will clearly understand the laws and rules governing acupuncture practice in Florida. Secondly, we will review recent changes to the laws and rules of acupuncture practice. Thirdly, we will understand the role of the Florida Board of Acupuncture in regulating the practice of acupuncture. Fourth, we will review and understand the requirements for license renewal and the process for maintaining licensure. Finally, through this topic, we, as Chinese medicine practitioners, will understand the disciplinary process and the consequences of violating the laws and rules governing acupuncture practice.
