Course overview
Neuromuscular blockade is a common intervention used in the healthcare setting, especially in the era of COVID-19-related respiratory failure. However, this medication is a narrow therapeutic medication with significant potential harm associated with its use. Clinicians must have appropriate knowledge and skill to ensure safe and effective use of this therapy. The purpose of this activity is to provide clinicians at any level of experience with neuromuscular blockade with the essential knowledge, tools, and safe practices to help manage these medications in the inpatient setting.
