Attachment Disorders: Identification and Treatment - Video

Course overview

Participants will be able to describe attachment theory from a clinical perspective, will be able to name the founders of attachment theory and describe their theories, will be able to describe how early childhood trauma influences attachment styles, will be able to screen and assess clients for attachment disorders. Participants will be able to correctly diagnosis Attachment Disorder versus Borderline Personality Disorder, will be able to provide interventions for clients with attachment related disorders, and will be able to intervene with clients who struggle with interpersonal communication challenges due to attachment disorders.
