AAV Avian Veterinary Clinical Competency Program: Tier 2

Course overview

The goal of the AVCCP is to improve, promote and expand avian veterinary medicine in companion avian species* through a program of learning modules taught by specialists in avian practice. The modules are a compilation of 3 progressive tiers containing interactive, self-directed content, case scenarios and quizzes throughout the modules to solidify key learning points. The AVCCP Will Provide: - Day-one clinical competency avian medicine education for students and early career veterinarians looking to expand their depth of practice in avian medicine. - A foundational review of current literature and research with updated standards of avian medicine care for seasoned practitioners. - A solid foundation for those wishing to further explore specialization in avian medicine. *Psittacines, passerines, backyard poultry Tier 2 is available to licensed veterinarians and currently enrolled veterinary students.
