Course overview
In the course, students will learn natural approaches to Women's Health. Specifically, the following women's health conditions will be explored: - Menstruation, - Fertility, - Gestational Issues, - Postpartum Wellbeing, - Candida. The natural approaches will include - Nutritional recommendations from a food as medicine point of view, - Supplemental recommendations, - Herbal recommendations (Chinese, Ayurvedic, Native American, Ancestral, Western and others), - Lifestyle recommendations, - Gemstones, - Aromatherapy. In addition, specific coaching strategies for working with patients with these conditions and situations that will help to improve treatment outcomes.
