Dementia Part 7: Addressing Symptoms (2)
Tracking # 20-1041138
Course overview
Knowing a resident is one thing, but entering their world and reality is something else. By seeing the world from their unique perspective, you may be able to respond to the person living with dementia as an individual and meet their needs. This is the second part of the dementia education on addressing dementia symptoms. It is about beyond getting to know about a resident to being in their world. This can help you address the symptoms of dementia and may reinforce the personal connection and trust between you and the resident.
