Course overview
The purpose of this course is to provide an overview of Alzheimers disease, the brain and behavioral changes, management, stages and treatment of Alzheimers disease, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved medications and various support groups resources that are available to the affected individual and family, including aspects of caring for the individual and assisting with Activities of Daily living. All healthcare professionals need to be aware of and knowledgeable to effectively work with and care for individuals with Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia.
