This course discusses the grieving process experienced by patients, caregivers, and employees as they deal with death and dying. The five stages of the grieving process as defined by Dr. Elisabeth Kubler-Ross will also be covered in this course. By dealing with grieving individuals in a caring and understanding manner, the services and care provided can aid patients in moving through the stages of grief and will allow them to live out the rest of their lives with dignity and respect.
