Tracking # 20-1049032
Course overview
Urinary and fecal incontinence affect many adults worldwide. Though a common impairment, many people do not realize there are effective interventions to manage these conditions and that physical or occupational therapy can help. This course provides the healthcare team with a basic understanding of the physiology and anatomy of continence. It also delves into rehabilitation assessment and conservative management of incontinence and pelvic floor dysfunction. The goal of this course is to provide physical and occupational therapy professionals in post-acute care settings with foundational knowledge of incontinence management.
