Course overview

This foundation course reviews the anatomy of the elbow and models best practices in evaluation techniques. Common pathology and differential diagnosis are discussed, and case studies model clinical presentations of common impairments including epicondylitis, tendinopathy, bursitis, and nerve compression disorders. A checklist resource is provided to support a comprehensive evaluation. Note, the treatment of these conditions is not covered in this course. The goal of this course is to provide physical and occupational therapy professionals with an overview of elbow anatomy and evaluation.
